# Mails & Chat

The Mails/Chat tab has two sub-tabs: **Mail**, for reading and claiming the account's in-game mailbox, and **Chat**, for following and sending messages in Kingdom chat, Alliance chat, and private conversations.

## Mail

### What you see

- A row of **type tabs** — Battle, Alliance, System, Message, and Collection — each showing a red badge with the number of unread mails in that category when there are any.
- A **summary line** ("N unread · N collectible") for the currently selected type.
- The **mail list**, showing each mail's icon, title, and time received. Unread mails show a small red dot on the icon, and mails with an unclaimed reward carry a "Reward" badge.
- The **detail pane**, which shows the selected mail's full title, timestamp, and body text once you pick a mail from the list. The text is read-only but selectable, so you can copy it if needed.

The mailbox reflects the account's live mail state and updates automatically; it fills in as soon as the account connects and reports its mail.

### What you can do

- **Claim All** — claims every collectible reward across all mail types in one action.
- **Claim** (in the detail pane) — claims the reward attached to the currently selected mail, if it has one ready to collect.
- **Delete** (in the detail pane) — deletes the currently selected mail.

Selecting a mail also marks it as read on the server, the same as opening it in-game would.

## Chat

### What you see

The Chat sub-tab has three inner tabs:

- **Kingdom** — a running log of world/kingdom chat, with a text box to send a message.
- **Alliance** — the same kind of log for alliance chat. If the account isn't in an alliance, this tab is disabled and shows a message telling you to join one first.
- **Private** — a messenger view: a list of ongoing private conversations (and player groups) on the left, showing each contact's name, a green/grey presence dot when known, a star to mark favorites, and a preview of the last message; and a bubble-style conversation view on the right once you pick someone from the list, with your own messages aligned right and the other person's aligned left.

Chat logs and conversations are live — new messages from the game appear automatically, and the private conversation list re-sorts itself to bring the most recently active (or pinned) conversations to the top.

### What you can do

- Type in the box under **Kingdom** or **Alliance** and press the send button (or hit Enter) to post a message to that channel.
- In **Private**, select a conversation to read its history and reply from the message box at the bottom (Enter sends, Shift+Enter adds a line break).
- Click the **star** next to a private conversation to pin or unpin it, keeping it at the top of the list.
- Click **\+ New message** to start a brand-new private conversation: search for a player by their exact in-game name or player ID, select them from the results, type a message, and send it to open the thread.
