Is the Kingshot Bot client refusing to launch, showing a license error, or stuck on "Connecting..."? Here are the most common causes and how to fix them, in order.

## 1\. Check your subscription

The most common cause of a connection block is an inactive or expired subscription.

1. Log in to your [dashboard](https://kingshot-bot.com/dashboard/billing?ref=help.kingshot-bot.com).
2. Go to **Billing** and check that your plan (Basic or Full) is **active**.
3. If a payment failed, update your payment method via the Stripe portal (see [Manage your billing](https://kingshot-bot.com/?ref=help.kingshot-bot.com)).
4. Restart the bot client once the subscription is confirmed active.

## 2\. Check the credentials you're using

Make sure you're logging in to the **client** with the email and password of your **Kingshot Bot** account (the dashboard one), not a Google or Facebook account — those are only used to import a game account, not to log in to the client itself.

- Check that Caps Lock isn't on.
- Use **Forgot Password** if needed (see [Reset your password](https://kingshot-bot.com/?ref=help.kingshot-bot.com)).

## 3\. Only one machine at a time

Your license is tied to a single device via the **HWID**. If you see a "Hardware ID mismatch" error, or you've just switched PCs:

1. Go to **Dashboard → Settings**.
2. Click **Reset HWID** (limited to 10 resets per month).
3. Restart the client on the machine you want to use.

More details in [Understanding and resetting your HWID](https://kingshot-bot.com/?ref=help.kingshot-bot.com).

## 4\. "Session expired" error

If a specific game account shows an expired session in the client (for example after logging in from another device), remove and re-import the game account via **Add Account** by logging back in with Google or Facebook. See [Manage your game accounts](https://kingshot-bot.com/?ref=help.kingshot-bot.com).

## 5\. Network connection issues

If the client is stuck on "Connecting...":

- Check your internet connection (try opening a website in your browser).
- Temporarily disable your VPN or antivirus, which may block outgoing connections, then try again.
- Restart the client.
- Check Discord for any ongoing maintenance or incident.

## Quick checklist

- Active subscription in **Billing**
- Correct email/password (Kingshot Bot account, not game account)
- HWID up to date for this machine
- Client up to date (latest version downloaded from the dashboard)
- Stable internet connection, VPN/antivirus disabled for testing

## Still stuck?

If none of these steps solve the problem, contact support on Discord, describing precisely the error shown (a screenshot if possible) and the email associated with your account. The team is available to help you directly.
